Sporting Club Licence Agreement Workshop This workshop is a compulsory session for all sporting clubs that hold or will be holding a building licence agreement with the council. Current licence agreements are due for renewal and will expire on 31 March 2026 to use your buildings. The session will step through the key components of the licence agreement, outline roles and responsibilities, and explain how clubs work with Council under the agreement. It will also cover the renewal process and key dates. Attendance is compulsory for one representative per club. This should be the Club President or the nominated club representative who works directly with Council on licence and facility matters. Time: 6pm - 7pm Location: Eyre Sports Park Club Rooms 2 Eyre Blvd, Adelaide South Australia 5121  Date: Monday Feb 9th 2026   A light dinner will be provided. The Northern Sport and Recreation Network is hosting a Free workshop on Social Media and Marketing  The NSRN is a collaboration between the Cities of Playford, Charles Sturt, Prospect, Port Adelaide Enfield, Tea Tree Gully and Salisbury.   This Workshop on Social media and Marketing is designed to help your club produce ideas on how to enhance your club's identity. It is designed for clubs to discover opportunities and skills to develop to take the next steps in marketing and social media.    Guest presenters: Kerryn Page from Quisk will be presenting to clubs on why marketing and social media are important and how to produce effective content. Alexandra Paul from Eastern Park Football Club will be sharing content and the processes involved from their social media pages as inspiration to other clubs.   Topics will include: Providing methods on how clubs can increase brand visibility in the community to attract more members. How clubs can market effectively through different platforms and create simple marketing material - use of AI.  Why digital marketing and social media is important for clubs to utilise. The City of Playford is hosting an accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol Training (SITHFAB021) at Eyre Sports Park, Monday 21 July from 6pm – 9pm.   To be compliant with the requirements of a Club Licence all staff/volunteers who serve alcohol must be trained in Responsible Service of Alcohol. This is a certified training course which will give you the following RSA accreditation -  Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol - SITHFAB021    The City of Playford is covering the costs for club volunteers to undertake this training course.
