Let's Talk Volunteering in Sport

The City of Playford is running a Volunteering in Sport forum and you’re invited!

 

Volunteers contribute to the value of sport, especially at the community level.

Many sports and sporting organisations would not be able to run without volunteers who fill many critical roles, including coach, official, manager, administrator, board and committee member.

 

From our recent club survey, it was recognised that one of clubs biggest challenges is recruiting volunteers.

If you are a club that is finding volunteers hard to come by or are struggling to create a culture of volunteering this is a great forum for you to attend.

Hear from Leading Teams who will inspire and provide thought provoking discussion about building a culture of volunteering within your club.

TidyHQ – Isaak Dury (CEO)

As we are transitioning into a world of online and working from home, it is also a great time for clubs to review their existing administration practices and make a shift to utilise some great platforms to become more efficient and transparent with their administration.

This will be the first session of a 4 week campaign which will dive deep into all of the components of the TidyHQ platform.

 

Northern Volunteering SA

The City of Playford clubs who attend this forum will be gifted a Northern Volunteering SA membership (valued at $100) which will provide access to free and discounted training courses and packages.

As a member, Northern Volunteering SA will talk about how you can advertise volunteer positions and vacancies at your club and also show you what resources are available to assist your club in supporting volunteers.
